What Does The Just-Us League Do?

Are you passionate about cosplay and eager to help give back to your community? Consider joining the Just-Us League as either a costumed hero or as a Citizen helper at events!

The mission of the Just-Us League is to use cosplay as a way to become the heroes our inner child would want to meet and/or become. We work to bring communities closer together by making positive outreach; providing smiles, a positive attitude, and laughter to the young and young at heart.

• Be a hero: Or help the heroes! You can bring a smile to the faces of kids and kids at heart at events.
• Connect with like-minded individuals: Meet other cosplay enthusiasts who share your passion.
• Make a positive impact: Contribute to charitable causes through your cosplay talents.
• Have fun: Enjoy dressing up, attending events, and spreading joy.

The Just-Us League regularly attends 40+ events in and around the greater KC area each year! Heroes are expected to attend 9 events throughout each “season” (March to December) and our Spotlight Superheroes are expected to attend 5 events. Citizens are expected to attend 4 events. We do also pro-rate attendance requirements as the year goes on.

If you have a Marvel or DC cosplay of high quality or can wear a League t-shirt and assist at events we want to hear from you!
